The Registration Center of Tsinghua University is responsible for course arrangement (class location and time), course registration (selection and withdrawal, etc.) , transcripts, academic registration, and IC card affairs. The service hall of the Registration Center is located in the third section of Teaching Building No. 3, with a service phone number 62788616 and an email email@example.com.
There are six teaching buildings on campus, among which the buildings No. 3 through No.6 are located closely in the central area of the campus, and the buildings No. 1 and 2 are near the Old Gate of campus. Almost all the classes are delivered in these buildings, except for some experiments, exercises, and practices, etc.
The students shall attend the classes on time. If you wish to study in a classroom after class, please check out the timetable on the door to know when it is not occupied by classes. Most classrooms are closed at 10 pm.
For each semester, the course information is released in advance on the website of Tsinghua Academics (http://academic.tsinghua.edu.cn). The students need to visit this website in time, find information about the schedule and guidance of course registration, and get ready for online course selection at the designated time.
If you have any question about course selection and course planning, please feel free to consult with the academic staff in your department/school or with your supervisor.
Before the start of each semester, the undergraduate and graduate students need to register in the service hall of the Registration Center, following the schedule specified in the University Calendar. The failure to registration two weeks after the schedule and without accepted prior request for leave will lead to cancellation of your student status.
Since August 21, 2015, the Registration Center provides Academics Self-service System, by which the students can use their student IC card to finish the student status registration by themselves on the self-service machines located in the service hall.
It is reminded that the international undergraduate and graduate students should pay for tuition and medical insurance and extend residence permit before the student status registration of each fall semester. The payment and residence permit extension need to be finished before the end of spring semester.
