The campus of Tsinghua University was selected as one of the world's most beautiful college campuses by Forbes Magazine in 2010, the only one from Asia.
Located on the site of Qing Hua Yuan in northwest Beijing, the Tsinghua campus was formerly known as a royal garden of Qing Dynasty. Many of Beijing’s most notable historic sites, like the Summer Palace and the Yuan Ming Yuan Park, are close by. The campus is famous for the beautiful surroundings embraced by shady trees, lotus ponds, and time-honored architectural complexes with different features and styles.
