2025 IEDA Summer School
The Industrial Engineering and Data Analytics (IEDA) Summer School, sponsored by the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University, is a 14-day summer school aimed at providing participants with a general introduction about Industrial Engineering and Data Analytics as well as a basic understanding on the systematic operation mode of Chinese industries. It consists courses on Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, and Engineering Management, while exploring significant historical places and enterprises of Chinese logistics and manufacturing in Beijing and some other cities in China. This Summer School offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in academics, Chinese industry, culture and society through both classroom and travel experiences.

III. Qualification
An applicant should be a non-Chinese citizen and in their second- or third-year undergraduate, or about to enter their final year study in engineering, data science, management or related areas.
IV. Duration
July 5- July 18, 2025 (Beijing time)
V. Costs
1. USD 800/student. The Summer School fee covers tuition, on-campus housing, accident insurance (during summer school), insurances. Personal expenses, such as international trip, passport and visa fees, and meals are not covered.
2. Scholarship opportunities are available according to the applicant's merits.
VI. How to Apply
1. Supporting Documents
a) Personal Statement including curriculum vitae, research interest, and experience.
b) An official enrollment certificate and academic transcript.
c) Copy of the personal passport information page.
d) For non-native English speakers, please provide results for English Proficiency test (TOEFL ≥ 85 or IELTS ≥ 6.5)
