At the beginning of each semester, ISSC arranges an Orientation programme for new international scholars and their families. Scholars who have been in Tsinghua for less than six months are strongly encouraged to attend.

During the orientation, we will provide essential information and regulations that will impact your stay in Tsinghua and China. Topics will include payment and insurance, safety and legal guidelines, activities for international scholars, and the family members’ club. Additionally, we invite an experienced international scholar who has worked and lived at Tsinghua to share their insights.

A guided Campus Bicycle Tour will also be arranged, taking you to places you will frequently visit during your time at Tsinghua. This is a great opportunity to experience the natural and cultural highlights of our vibrant campus across different seasons.
